1、 Current situation of conveying system

At present, most industrial and mining enterprises mainly use carbon steel pipelines for transportation. These pipelines have the following problems:

1. Oxidation of traditional pipeline

As the main component of carbon steel pipe is iron, this element is easy to react with water and oxygen in the air to produce iron oxide (rust). This material will be transmitted to the cylinder and production equipment along with compressed air, which will cause cylinder wear and equipment damage and bring unnecessary losses to the user. If the air source is in direct contact with the product, the quality will be reduced, and the impact will be more serious if it is food products. Even if the filter triplet is adopted, as rust is a solid impurity, it is very easy to adsorb on the filter material, resulting in the short service life of the filter material and the pressure drop.

2. Pressure drop of traditional pipeline

Even for newly installed carbon steel pipes, the inner wall is rough (internal roughness 1.9 μ m) And the roughness increases year by year due to corrosion, which directly leads to the decrease of the flow rate and the increase of the pressure drop.

3. Leakage problem of traditional pipeline

The leakage is caused by corrosion. No matter whether the carbon steel pipe is installed by threading or welding, the corrosion always begins at the wire mouth and welding scar.

Therefore, some enterprises, especially the electronics, pharmaceutical and spraying industries, will choose to use stainless steel pipes to avoid the secondary pollution caused by pipe rust and the risk of corrosion and leakage. However, the cost of stainless steel pipes is relatively high, and their wide application is limited to a certain extent.
