Surface pretreatment method
There are various oxidation methods. Before surface treatment of aluminum pipes, different oxidation treatment processes shall be selected according to their own requirements:
1. Anodizing - a layer of dense aluminum oxide film is produced on the surface of the aluminum tube, which reacts with the air again to improve the protection performance of the aluminum tube. At the same time, the oxide film isolates the internal free ions, making it unable to conduct electricity.
2. Coloring after anodizing - various colors are formed on the oxide film to meet certain use requirements, such as black for optical instrument parts and gold for commemorative badges.
3. Chemical oxidation - used for general protection, with ordinary processing technology difficulty and low production cost.
4. Coating organic protective layer (coating and other organic coatings) - used for external protection and decoration of equipment, which is usually operated on the basis of oxidation.
Aluminum alloy pipe itself has good corrosion resistance, and after anti-oxidation treatment, it is more difficult to rust. This is why aluminum alloy pipes are more durable than ordinary carbon steel pipes and galvanized pipes.
