The application range of compressed air pipeline is wide, and correct installation is an important key. Paying attention to the basic installation principles common to any application type will ensure that the air compressor can exert high efficiency and performance. The air compressor constitutes a complete system through pipelines, valves and other equipment. Improper design, calculation and installation of compressed air pipeline will affect the economy and reliability of the whole system, and even bring serious destructive accidents. When necessary, the compressed air pipeline can be equipped with an air tank in the middle of the pipeline. The ring pipe is equivalent to a pressure vessel, which can ensure that the pressure is the same everywhere in the air compressor pipeline.

In addition, when selecting the air compressor, a certain amount of compressed air shall be reserved to make up for the loss of pressure flow. The compressed air pipeline system is provided with valves, pressure reducing devices, oil and water drains, compensators, gas distributors and meters, which are selected and processed according to the design drawings. Appearance inspection shall be conducted for pipes and fittings. The pipes of high-pressure pipelines shall be subject to nondestructive testing by magnetic flaw detection and other methods. The pipes shall be derusted and coated with anti rust paint before processing, and the valves shall be cleaned, ground and hydrostatic tested.

The extrudable size range of compressed air pipe varies with different extrusion methods. The large outer diameter of the aluminum alloy tube extruded by the conventional piercing needle extrusion method is 600-650mm, the small inner diameter is 5-15mm, and the small wall thickness is 2-5mm. Due to the strength and rigidity of the piercing needle, the small inner diameter and wall thickness of extruded aluminum alloy pipe are greatly limited.
