Water supply pipeline, fire hydrant pipeline, automatic sprinkler pipeline, hot water pipeline, etc. are pressure pipelines. The main characteristic of pressure pipeline different from gravity pipeline is that it can climb. The medium in the gravity flow pipeline flows from high to low only under the action of gravity. Sewage, wastewater, rainwater and other pipelines belong to gravity flow pipelines. Their main characteristics are that there are slope requirements and there are many impurities in the discharged water flow. Try to make the pipeline short and avoid too many turns to ensure the use space of the building and smooth drainage. In case of pipeline crossing, the elevation requirements of gravity pipeline shall be taken as the primary condition to be met, and the pressure pipe shall avoid the gravity pipe.

The cold water pipe of the super pipe avoids the hot water pipe. The hot water pipe needs to be insulated and the cost is higher than that of the cold water pipe. Cable (power, automatic control, communication, etc.) bridges and water pipes should be arranged separately or above them to avoid damage to cables or accidents caused by pipeline leakage.

The pipeline with few accessories shall avoid the pipeline with many accessories, which is conducive to construction operation, maintenance and replacement of pipe fittings. When the pipelines are arranged in layers, they shall be arranged in the order of steam, hot water, water supply and drainage pipelines from top to bottom.
